6-Day Uzbekistan Journey by High-Speed Train: Khiva — Bukhara — Samarkand — Tashkent
Six days, four cities and a journey through different chapters of Uzbekistan's history — from ancient Khorezm and the fortified streets of Khiva to historic Bukhara, monumental Samarkand and the modern capital, Tashkent. This itinerary is designed for travelers who want to experience Uzbekistan as a complete cultural journey rather than visiting just one destination.
The route begins in Urgench and continues through Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand before reaching Tashkent. Modern high-speed trains are used for the main intercity journeys, providing a comfortable way to move between historic destinations without spending entire days on the road. Professional licensed guides accompany the sightseeing programs, while hotels, transfers, railway tickets, entrance fees, breakfasts and lunches are included.
DAY 1. URGENCH — KHIVA: THE JOURNEY BEGINS
After arriving at Urgench International Airport, you will be welcomed with a name sign. A private transfer takes you to Khiva, where you check in at a comfortable hotel.
After the flight, free time is provided for rest and settling in. No sightseeing is scheduled for this day, allowing you to enjoy a relaxed evening in the atmosphere of ancient Khiva.
Overnight in Khiva.
DAY 2. KHIVA — ICHAN-KALA AND KHOREZM HERITAGE
After breakfast, begin a walking tour of Ichan-Kala with a professional licensed guide. The historic part of Khiva preserves an impressive concentration of palaces, mosques, madrasas, mausoleums and minarets within its fortified walls.
The sightseeing program includes Kunya-Ark Fortress, Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasa, the famous Kalta Minor Minaret, Muhammad Rahim Khan Madrasa, Juma Mosque, Tash-Hauli Palace, the Mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud, as well as the Islam Khoja Minaret and Madrasa.

After breakfast, travelers make their own way on foot to Khiva railway station, which is within walking distance. Early in the morning, depart for Bukhara by high-speed train.

The itinerary includes Hazrati Imam Square, Barak-Khan Madrasa, the Mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi, Chorsu Bazaar, Independence Square, Amir Timur Square and the modern Tashkent City district.
The scheduled sightseeing program ends after the tour.
Travelers who wish to extend their stay can arrange additional excursions for an extra fee, including trips to the Chimgan Mountains, Amirsoy all-season resort or the Institute of the Sun.
This six-day Uzbekistan journey brings together the country's major historic destinations in one carefully organized itinerary. Khiva reveals the heritage of Khorezm, Bukhara preserves the atmosphere of a medieval trading center, Samarkand showcases the grandeur of Silk Road architecture, and Tashkent concludes the journey with the energy of modern Uzbekistan.
