To the Zaamin Nature Reserve — Uzbekistan's Mountain Nature in One Day
About this tour
An eight-hour tour to the Zaamin Nature Reserve — one of Uzbekistan's oldest nature reserves, located in the Turkestan mountain range at an altitude of over 1,500 meters. The program includes a reservoir with panoramic views, ancient juniper trees, some over a thousand years old, the Chortanga canyon with its steep rock walls, a modern glass bridge over the gorge, and a cable car ride up to the viewing platforms. This is one of the few tours that shows Uzbekistan through mountain nature and fresh air rather than architecture — a contrast especially welcome after a few days of city sightseeing. The price includes the guide and transport; meals are paid on site.
