Early in the morning, board the high-speed train from Tashkent to Khiva. After arriving in Khiva, you can choose between two comfortable options. Option 1 — sightseeing immediately after arrival. A professional guide meets you at the railway station and begins a walking tour of Ichan-Kala, the ancient walled inner city of Khiva. Explore the main monuments, madrasahs, minarets, mosques, palaces and historic streets before the guide assists with your hotel check-in. Option 2 — hotel rest before sightseeing. After arrival, you can walk independently to your hotel. The historic center is very close, making it convenient to reach the hotel and rest after the train journey. Around 4:00 PM, your professional guide meets you and the evening walking tour of Ichan-Kala begins. The later afternoon light creates a particularly atmospheric setting, with the ancient walls and monuments illuminated in warm tones and the opportunity to experience sunset in historic Khiva. Ichan-Kala is not simply a single attraction but a complete historic city enclosed within massive walls. During the walking tour, discover Khiva’s most important architectural monuments while learning about Khorezm, the Great Silk Road, the rulers of the Khiva Khanate and the region’s historic trading routes. After the tour, travelers stay in Khiva. If you wish to continue your journey, we can arrange train tickets for the following day towards Bukhara or Samarkand. A return train ticket from Khiva to Tashkent can also be arranged upon request. These additional tickets are not included in the tour price.
